Anyone who has been owned by a hound understands just how difficult they can be as far as training is concerned. They operate in their own world and on their own timeline; they are wicked smart and just as stubborn. We’ve got this sensitive guy (Stanley) that we rescued when he was just under a year old, and who brought with him a year’s worth of unknowns and anxieties. After working with him on our own for a couple of years, we decided we needed help to really cement his learning. Enter Tammy, who immediately developed Stanley’s trust, built on what we had accomplished, and provided patient – yet firm – training. Of course, half of the training was for us, which was a very smart thing to do! There were several dogs in our obedience class – each at a different level. We were impressed with how Tammy was able to tailor the training for each dog while ensuring everyone received an equal share of her time and expertise. Stanley says, “Thank you, Tammy. You’re the best!”

My two dogs Chloe and Becker are my family. I have been using Tammy for many years. She does an excellent job caring for my pets, and meeting their medical/special needs. She has always been great about keeping in touch with me, sending pictures on longer stays, giving me updates etc. My pets are in excellent hands with her, I am truly satisfied, and I never have to worry while we are away. When we come back home, the house is always the way we left it, and there is always a note left on the counter giving me a great report card for my two furry babies.
